SQA Engineer

We’re looking for a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer who is committed to delivering excellence, embraces automation, and is eager to leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and DevTool AI assistance to elevate the testing process.

Key Responsibilities:

1- Manual & Automation Testing:

• Design, execute, and maintain test cases, plans, and scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through tools like Jira or similar platforms.
• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and performance testing.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

2- AI-Powered Quality Practices:

• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, DevTool AI assistance) to generate test scenarios, optimize scripts, and support root cause analysis.
• Utilize AI-driven testing tools (e.g., Testim, Applitools, or Katalon AI) for smart test generation, visual validation, and anomaly detection.
• Apply AI-assisted insights to identify potential defect areas based on usage patterns and system behavior.
• Contribute to the validation and testing of AI models where applicable.
• Stay updated with emerging AI trends in software testing and recommend modern, AI-supported QA improvements.

3- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

• Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of the Agile development cycle.
• Track and report QA metrics, identify process gaps, and propose improvement initiatives.
• Promote knowledge-sharing on AI-assisted testing approaches within the QA team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (Manual + Automation).
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and test documentation.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, or JMeter.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, DevTool AI assistance, or similar.
• Experience or interest in AI-driven testing platforms (Testim, Applitools, Katalon AI, etc.).
• Understanding of API testing and automation integration in CI/CD environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
