SQA Engineer-Job Description

eSpark Talent is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SQA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, manual testing methodologies, and a passion for ensuring the highest standards of software quality.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct end-to-end testing for each new feature on web projects.
• Verify integrations between different services, systems, and applications.
• Perform regression testing on web projects.
• Participate in planning QA activities within the development process.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define testing strategies, prioritize testing tasks, and set quality standards for deliverables.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data sets.
• Document test results, defects, and issues in a structured manner using tools like Jira or Confluence.
• Implement and enforce quality assurance processes, standards, and methodologies within the development team.
• Ensure adherence to software testing best practices and industry standards.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on testing processes, tools, and techniques.
• Develop and update testing documentation, including user guides, training materials, and knowledge base articles.
• Support knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the QA team.

Requirements:

• Experience with web services and REST API testing.
• Experience in testing client-server applications.
• Proficient in creating and maintaining test documentation (Test cases, Bug reports, Test reports).
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Understanding of testing processes, types, and principles.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Ability to plan required testing activities.
• Proficient in English for reading, writing, and verbal communication.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Postman.
• Experience in querying data from databases.

Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in the relevant field.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications in software quality assurance or testing.
