SQA Engineer

About the Role:
We are looking for an SQA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in manual testing, with practical exposure to both web and mobile application testing. Experience with automation tools is a plus. You should have proven experience in API testing, along with the ability to create clear and comprehensive test cases, test plans, and documentation. Familiarity with client communication is considered an added advantage. This role suits someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to ensuring high-quality product delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
• Execute API testing and validate responses, endpoints, and data integrity.
• Write and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and test documentation.
• Identify, report, and track bugs and issues, collaborating with the development team for resolution.
• Assist in automation testing initiatives where applicable.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Conduct regression, integration, and functional testing to ensure high-quality releases.
• Stay updated with testing best practices, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve testing processes.
• Support client-facing testing activities when needed, such as reporting or clarifications

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Proven experience in API testing and familiarity with testing tools.
• Exposure to automation testing is a plus.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
• Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases, test plans, and documentation.
• Basic knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Familiarity with client communication is a plus.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs90,000.00 per month
