SQA Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our on-site development team in DHA Phase 2, Islamabad. In this role, you will ensure the quality, stability, and performance of our platform, which is powered by Django (backend) and React/Next.js (frontend). Your contributions will directly impact the user experience for thousands of students worldwide by maintaining a smooth, secure, and reliable system.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications.
• Validate and verify user-facing features built with React.js and Next.js.
• Conduct backend and API testing for Django REST APIs.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira or Trello.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform regression, smoke, performance, and cross-browser testing.
• Maintain test environments and ensure quality checkpoints in CI/CD pipelines.
• Detect and report edge cases and usability issues proactively.
• Contribute to QA documentation, process improvements, and testing best practices.

Requirements

Must-Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in software testing or QA.
• Solid understanding of frontend frameworks (React.js/Next.js) and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Familiarity with Python-based backends, preferably Django.
• Working knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
• Experience using Git-based workflows and CI/CD tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
