SQA Engineer – Automation, API, and Data Warehouse Testing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience in automation testing, API testing, and Data Warehouse validation. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience working with APIs and data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Perform thorough API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
• Validate ETL processes and ensure accurate and complete data flow within the Data Warehouse.
• Write and execute SQL queries to perform data validation against large datasets.
• Work closely with developers, data engineers, and product managers to understand and test system requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in Software QA, including automation and API testing.
• Strong knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured).
• Solid understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and data validation techniques.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
• Understanding of ETL workflows and testing strategies for data pipelines.
• Good understanding of CI/CD and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent English communication skills – both verbal and written.

Nice to Have:

• Scripting skills in Python, Java, or other programming languages.
• Exposure to BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
