SQA Engineer Automation(Cypress)

Experience: 3–5 years

Location: Lahore – On-site

Employment Type: Full-time

Working Hours: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and

mobile applications.

● Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.

● Conduct data validation and database testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.

● Perform API testing using Postman and validate backend integrations.

● Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools like ClickUp, JIRA,

Trello, or similar.

● Collaborate with developers, designers, and business teams to understand

requirements and acceptance criteria.

● Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress,

or PHPUnit.

● Participate in release planning and validate deployments in staging and production

environments.

● Ensure adherence to QA best practices and continuous improvement processes.

Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

● 3–5 years of hands-on experience in software QA / testing.

● Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

● Proven experience in manual testing and exposure to test automation.

● Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.

● Experience in data and database testing (SQL required).

● API and Postman testing experience is mandatory.

● Familiarity with Git for version control is preferred.

● Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

● Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

● Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

● Experience testing cloud-based or microservices applications.
