SQL Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a mid-level professional with strong SQL Server and database knowledge, along with at least one year of programming experience. The ideal candidate will have exposure to reporting tools and be comfortable working in a development and data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases and queries
• Work with database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and functions
• Support application development with effective database design and integration
• Develop and maintain reports using Crystal Reports or Java-based reporting tools
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications and database systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server
• Solid understanding of database concepts (normalization, indexing, performance tuning)
• Minimum 1 year of programming experience
• Experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports or Java-based reporting frameworks
• Ability to analyze data and generate accurate reports

Preferred / Optional Skills

• Knowledge of VB 6 is a plus
• Experience working in legacy systems is an advantage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Experience Level

• Mid-Level (1–3 years)
