Job Title: SQL Server Developer

Location: Karachi, Pakistan ( Gulshan E Iqbal Block , 10A )

Shift: Day (9 AM – 6 PM)

Experience: 5+ Years

SQL Server Developer to manage and optimize our database systems and reporting tools. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL Server, ETL processes, and advanced reporting platforms to create solutions that drive key decision-making processes across various business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Development and Optimization:
• Design, develop, and maintain complex stored procedures to support various business applications.
• Optimize database performance and ensure seamless operation for data retrieval and reporting.
• ETL and SSIS Package Development:
• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes using SSIS packages to manage data flow and integration.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Reporting and Visualization:
• Collaborate with business units to gather reporting and dashboard requirements.
• Use tools such as SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or OpenText BI to create insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Design data visualizations including drilldowns, tables, gauges, graphs, and charts for intuitive decision-making.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Meet with decision-makers, business analysts, and end-users to define reporting requirements.
• Advise managers and stakeholders on the effective use of organizational data and reporting capabilities.
• Facilitate post-implementation support and end-user training for modified and new visualizations.
• Data Management and Strategy:
• Develop models, procedures, and protocols in line with organizational goals.
• Manage the creation and maintenance of data warehouses and associated processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in SQL Server development, including writing efficient and complex queries.
• Proven expertise in creating and managing SSIS Packages and ETL processes.
• Strong experience with reporting tools such as SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Hands-on knowledge of importing and integrating data for reports, dashboards, and analytics.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server relational and OLAP database systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of OpenText BI and other business intelligence tools.
• Practical experience with advanced data visualization techniques.
• Exposure to dashboard and scorecard design methodologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
