The Sr Account Manager a role that will be responsible for scheduling the timely and efficient delivery of our customers products by dispatching the loads to TSH Owner Operators, Brokers, and/or Agents on our vast network of Owner Operators. This position will also aide in the negotiation of pricing with customers and drivers and provide support to the Regional Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service and coordination support between drivers and customers.
  • Edit orders and update Load Boards and Transport Pro.
  • Trace and track cargo as necessary to insure proper movement and delivery. Report any discrepancies to RSM or other TSH departments.
  • Negotiate with customers and drivers pricing based on the load, distance, etc.
  • Promptly resolve any issues with delivery by working with the Owner Operators and internal TSH teams. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving safety, service, and operational issues.
  • Assist fellow team members with order taking from customers.
  • Understand the differences between TSH, brokerage, and agents.
  • Assist with managing existing customer base and provide highest level of customer service.
  • Understand shipper information and requirements to avoid any conflicts with customer relationship.
  • Develop and grow customer activity
  • Build, dispatch and track freight
  • Provide administrative support for the POD or Freight Department as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in transportation or related field preferred.
  • Functional in knowledge of supply chain environment.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong data entry skills with knack for accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
