Job Summary
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, statutory compliance, and timely reporting.
The role requires hands-on experience in finalization of accounts, taxation, audits, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
Preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
Handle GST compliances including returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconciliation, and notices
Manage TDS compliances including deduction, challans, returns, and Form 16/16A
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
Bank, cash, and inter-company reconciliations
Support statutory audit, internal audit, and tax audit processes
Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST laws, and other statutory
requirements
Preparation of MIS reports, budgets, and variance analysis
Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, and tax authorities
Supervise and guide junior accounting staff
Assist in payroll accounting and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT) if required
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com / CA-Inter preferred
5–8 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, or similar ERP)
Good working knowledge of MS Excel
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Industry Experience
Power plant / Infrastructure / Manufacturing / EPC companies (preferred but not
mandatory)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
