YOUR TASKS

• Prepare, review, and file monthly Sales Tax returns accurately and within statutory deadlines, ensuring full compliance with relevant provincial sales tax regulations.
• Manage tax compliance activities, including preparation of tax schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation required for statutory filings and audits.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, assess their impact on the business, and ensure timely implementation of compliance requirements.
• Liaise with external tax advisors, consultants, and regulatory authorities on tax audits, inquiries, assessments, notices, and other tax-related matters.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain required information, resolve tax-related issues, and maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
• Ensure all legal tax obligations are fulfilled on time to mitigate risks, avoid fines, penalties, and interest charges, and support a strong compliance framework.

YOUR PROFILE

• CA Finalist, ACCA or ICMA qualified.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in taxation, statutory compliance, and tax reporting.
• Well versed in use of FBR and Provincial Sales Tax portals.
• Advanced Excel user.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work under pressure.
