Key Responsibilities
Based on industry-relevant job profiles from Indian multispecialty hospitals:
- Handle cheque issuance and voucher preparation across branches (including doctor and staff salaries) RG Hospitals
- Deposit TDS cheques, manage challans, and file related compliance tasks RG Hospitals
- Maintain bank statements, passbook updates, and perform bank reconciliations for all hospital centers RG Hospitals
- Support PF & ESI contributions: coordinate with agents to collect and deposit amounts monthly RG Hospitals
- Manage cash payments and vouchers, performing cashier duties when needed RG Hospitals
- Maintain confidentiality for patient, staff, and financial data at all times RG Hospitals
- Assist in quality assurance/control activities and handle ad hoc accounting tasks as required RG Hospitals
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payables and receivables, and cash flow management Adzuna
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, MIS reports, and assist with audits AdzunaGlassdoor
- Manage hospital billing cycles, including patient invoicing, insurance claims, TPA and government reimbursements (like Ayushman Bharat) Adzuna

- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and provide financial insights to senior management Adzuna+1
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter) RG HospitalsSGRH
Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in hospital accounting, preferably within a multispecialty or super-specialty setup. Experience in doctor's accounting, branch-level reconciliations, and statutory compliances
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally), strong command of Microsoft Excel, and experience with ERP systems like Oracle or hospital billing software RG HospitalsSGRH

- Ethical conduct and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Analytical mindset and ability to prepare MIS and financial analysis
- Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments (billing, HR, audit,TPA etc.)
