1. GST Compliance & Taxation
- GST Returns & Reconciliations: Prepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9; reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase records.
- Input Tax Credit (ITC): Manage and reconcile ITC claims, ensuring compliance with GST laws.
- Vendor & Customer Coordination: Collaborate to ensure accurate GST documentation and compliance.
2. Financial Accounting & Balance Sheet Management
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate records of daily transactions using accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
- Financial Statements: Prepare monthly and annual balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconciliations: Conduct bank, vendor, and intercompany reconciliations.
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Invoice Management: Process and verify invoices; ensure timely payments and collections.
- Aging Reports: Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts.
4. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
- TDS Management: Calculate, deduct, and remit TDS; file quarterly returns.
- Tax Audits & Filings: Assist in tax audits; prepare and file income tax returns.
- Statutory Liabilities: Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, and other statutory requirements.
5. MIS & Reporting
- Management Reporting: Generate monthly/quarterly MIS reports for management review.
- Variance Analysis: Analyze budget vs. actual financial performance.
6. Audit & Internal Controls
- Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors; provide necessary documentation.
- Internal Controls: Implement and monitor internal financial controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational Background: B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA Inter or Semi-qualified CA.
- Experience: Typically 4–7 years in accounting roles, with at least 1 year in GST compliance.
- Industry Exposure: Experience in IT, manufacturing, or service sectors is advantageous.
