Position Overview
We are seeking a executive Accounts to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliances, financial reporting, audits, and internal controls. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable, GST, TDS, reconciliations, financial statements, and coordination with auditors and banks. Experience in manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Record and verify day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally/ERP systems.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
- Update and maintain Cash Book, Journal Entries, General Ledger.
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements regularly.
- Perform vendor reconciliation, customer reconciliation.
2. Financial Reporting
- Preparation of Trial Balance, P&L Account, Balance Sheet.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual closing of books.
- Preparation of audit schedules and support monthly MIS reporting.
- Handle budget preparation, budget forecasting and variance analysis.
- Prepare CMA Data, projections, and financial statements for banking purposes.
- Product Costing
3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Filing of GST returns – GSTR-1, 3B, ITC Reconciliation, E-Invoice.
- Manage TDS calculations, payments, and returns.
- Handle PF, ESI, PT, payroll-related statutory compliances.
- Maintain sub-contractor TDS details and records.
- Coordinate with tax consultants for Income Tax and statutory audits.
4. Audit & Internal Controls
- Support statutory, internal and tax audits with required documentation.
- Conduct internal audits, process audits, stock audits at site/branches.
- Review of reports, verify vouchers, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
5. Banking & Finance
- Coordinate with banks for CC limits, term loans, BG/LC documentation.
- Handle fund flow management, payment planning, and working capital management.
- Monitor foreign exchange transactions for import/export (if applicable).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, Financial Management, Taxation, GST & TDS.
- Working experience with Tally ERP9/Prime, MS-Office, Excel (Advanced).
- Ability to work under pressure with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.
- Quick learner, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
Educational Qualifications
- MBA (Finance) / CMA / B.Com / M.Com or equivalent (depending on candidate level).
- Strong academic background in Accounts, Taxation, Costing, Financial Management.
Experience
- 3 to 8+ years of experience in Accounting, Audit, Taxation, and Finance.
- Experience across Construction, Manufacturing, Automotive or Service industries preferred.
