s a Sr Advanced Automation Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and productivity. ou will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on a 100% onsite work schedule. I

n this role, you will impact the automation landscape within Honeywell Aerospace Technologies Ring Laser Gyro and Inertial Measurement Unit factories by driving the adoption of new technologies and methodologies that improve our manufacturing performance. Your contributions will be vital in helping us maintain our competitive edge in the industry. A

EY RESPONSIBILITIES D

  • esign and implement advanced automation solutions to enhance manufacturing processes. S
  • upport and optimize existing automation systems for improved efficiency and reliability. C
  • ollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation technologies into production workflows. H
  • elp develop and manage a pipeline of projects within a specific technology area for the Minneapolis RLG and IMU factories. U
  • nderstand the capital budget/schedule, manage Capital Planning System (CPS) requests and drive CPS execution. M
  • anage, design, implement and deploy automation projects, both hardware and software, that monitor and/or control the manufacturing process. C
  • reate Statements of Work and Project Charters with hands-on collaboration with vendor(s) and integrator(s). E
  • nsure thorough risk analysis (via tools like PFMEA) to mitigate challenges with machine or process qualification steps. U
  • tilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.

OU MUST HAVE B

  • achelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics. 5
  • + years of experience in automation engineering or related fields. S
  • trong knowledge of automation technologies, including PLCs, SCADA, and robotics. E
  • xperience with system integration and troubleshooting of automation systems. P
  • roficiency in programming languages relevant to automation, such as Python, C++, or similar. W

he annual base salary range for this position is $126k - $157k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
