Position: Sr. AI Developer / AI Agent Integration Specialist – eCommerce

Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced AI Developer to design, build, and deploy intelligent agents that enhance user experience, personalization, and sales on our eCommerce platform. You will collaborate with frontend, backend, and data teams to integrate conversational bots, recommendation engines, and AI-driven search into a high‑traffic online store.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect & Implement AI Agents: Develop conversational agents (chatbots, voice bots) for customer support, product discovery, and upsell flows.
• Personalization & Recommendations: Build and optimize machine‑learning models for product recommendations, dynamic pricing, and content personalization.
• Intelligent Search: Integrate NLP-powered search and autocomplete to improve product findability and conversion rates.
• Data Pipeline & Model Deployment: Design end‑to‑end pipelines for data ingestion, training, evaluation, and real‑time model serving (e.g., via Docker/Kubernetes).
• Performance & Monitoring: Instrument A/B tests, monitor KPIs (conversion, engagement), and iterate on AI models to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and data scientists; document architectures, APIs, and deployment processes.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in production, preferably within eCommerce.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit‑learn.
• Hands‑on experience with NLP libraries (spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Familiarity with recommendation systems (collaborative filtering, deep learning).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and ML pipelines (e.g., SageMaker, AI Platform).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work on large‑scale eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, custom).
• Expertise in conversational AI platforms (Dialogflow, Rasa, Microsoft Bot Framework).
• Familiarity with real‑time data streaming (Kafka, Pub/Sub) and feature stores.
• Strong understanding of A/B testing methodologies and analytics tools.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating in Agile teams.
