Job Description
ata Quality Oversight
Partner with data owners, stewards, and analysts to identify, document, and resolve data quality issues.
Recommend and implement improvements to data quality processes, controls, and monitoring mechanisms.
Support the development of data quality metrics and dashboards to track data health and remediation progress.
Metadata & Taxonomy Management
Ensure the integrity and consistency of the enterprise metadata dictionary and taxonomy by promoting the reuse of standardized business terms.
Collaborate with project and BAU teams to validate and onboard data dictionaries into the metadata repository.
Act as a metadata steward, ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance policies and standards.
Governance Enablement & Training
Provide training and support to business and IT users on navigating metadata tools and understanding taxonomy structures.
Promote awareness and adoption of metadata and data quality standards across the organization.
Serve as a subject matter expert on the Informatica Metadata Manager and other governance tools.
Operational & Strategic Support
Lead the resolution of complex data governance challenges and manage process escalations.
Document governance processes, best practices, and lessons learned to support knowledge retention and team enablement.
Support the Data & Analytics leadership team in executing strategic initiatives and achieving team objectives.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Facilitate brainstorming and ideation sessions to identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation.
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and regulatory developments in data governance and quality.
Provide thought leadership and insights to the Management on emerging data governance practices

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or business/data analysis.
  • Strong expertise in metadata tools (preferably Informatica), data dictionaries, and taxonomy frameworks.
  • Proven experience in data quality management, including issue identification, root cause analysis, and remediation.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in the financial services or asset management industry.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
