Overview
The role is responsible for the safe, reliable operation and maintenance of critical plant utilities to ensure uninterrupted supply of steam, compressed air, power, chilled water, process water, nitrogen, LPG vaporization, dehumidification, firefighting systems, and wastewater treatment. The incumbent will drive preventive/predictive maintenance, support continuous improvement (Kaizen/CI) and productivity/ReCon initiatives, maintain strong documentation and SOP governance, and ensure full compliance with EHS, AIB/FS, and PeMM requirements while working flexibly across shifts as needed.
Responsibilities

Execute operation and maintenance activities for assigned utilities, including Bosch steam boilers, Atlas Copco compressors and dryers, Cummins DG sets, Deep Sea synchronization systems, Weishaupt burners, N₂ plant compressors/dryers/generators (Gardner Denver), electrical and absorption chillers (Trane, LG), deep well turbines, RO treatment, and process pumping, steam/electrical dehumidifiers, AHUs, LPG vaporizers, WWTP, and firefighting pumps/sprinkler network.

Plan and close preventive and predictive maintenance in SAP PM, ensuring accurate notifications, work orders, history, and technical documentation.

Develop, review, and regularly update operational and maintenance SOPs for utility equipment; ensure adherence through proper shift execution and handovers.

Lead and implement Kaizens/CI projects to reduce downtime, improve reliability, and optimize utility performance and costs.

Execute ReCon and productivity initiatives within the designated focus area and support tracking/reporting of outcomes.

Support the Utilities Manager in planning and delivery of CAPEX spend related to the assigned utilities scope, including technical inputs and execution coordination.

Drive closure of actions related to AIB/FS audits, PeMM, and EHS within the assigned area, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.

Provide shift-based operational support as required, including troubleshooting, breakdown response, root cause actions, and restoration of services.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders and service providers to ensure timely maintenance execution, documentation quality, and safe working practices.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager from time to time in line with site priorities.
Qualifications
Diploma of Associate Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, C class Boiler Engineering Certification, 4-6 years of experience in similar capacity, Capable to handle utilities operations independently.
