SR. ASSET INTEGRITY ENGINEER

Primary Purpose of the Job:

Implement, control & monitor the Asset Integrity Inspection program for QatarEnergy Idd El-Shargi asset and maintain Asset Integrity Inspection management database. Review & document the process to demonstrate Fit for Purpose condition with risks mitigated to ensure IS objectives are achieved.

• Strong consultancy skills, professional, self-motivated and a team player. Attention to detail.

• Ability to work with minimum supervision and demonstrate initiative to resolve problems.

• Minimum Twelve (12) years of professional experience in Asset Integrity Management in Oil & Gas Industry preferably in offshore environment.

• Experience in the use of RBI software packages and/or integrity data management systems.

• Knowledge of international inspection and compliance codes/jurisdictional codes desirable.

• Should have multi-discipline skill set and good understanding of engineering design practices and standards.

Educational Qualifications:

• B.Sc or equivalent degree in Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical engineering.

• Valid certification or working knowledge of API 510, 570, 653 and 580.

• Valid certification in AMPP or equivalent

• Preferable with Fitness-for-Service assessment and API 580/581 training and experience

• Should be well versed with MS office and computer skills, fluent in English and capable of running asset integrity related inspection data and corrosion management systems
