Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Associate/Of Counsel to join our Construction Litigation team. This role is essential for providing expert legal counsel on construction-related disputes, ensuring the protection of our clients' interests in complex legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee construction litigation cases from inception to resolution
• Advise clients on legal rights and obligations related to construction defects and disputes
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, claims, and pleadings
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments
• Collaborate with construction professionals to understand project specifics and potential legal implications
• Provide risk management advice to clients on custom project agreements and contract administration
• Handle payment disputes and breach of contract claims effectively
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to construction litigation

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in NJ & NY
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction litigation or related field
• Strong knowledge of construction law, including contracts, AIA guidelines, and risk management
• Proven track record in managing complex litigation cases
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
