Sr. AWS/DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to manage, optimize, and secure our cloud infrastructure, with primary responsibility for EC2 and RDS instances. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, cost efficiency, and security of AWS environments while supporting deployment automation and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and manage AWS EC2 instances (Linux/Windows)
• Manage Amazon RDS (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MariaDB/SQL Server/Aurora)
• Perform backup, restore, scaling, patching, and performance tuning of EC2 and RDS
• Set up Auto Scaling Groups, Load Balancers (ALB/ELB) for high availability
• Implement IAM roles, security groups, NACLs, and best security practices
• Monitor infrastructure using CloudWatch, alarms, and logs
• Optimize AWS costs (instance sizing, reserved instances, storage optimization)
• Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting
• Automate infrastructure using CloudFormation
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions / Jenkins / CodePipeline
• Ensure data security, encryption, and compliance standards
• Coordinate with development teams for deployment and environment support
• Maintain documentation of infrastructure and processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an AWS / DevOps Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with EC2 and RDS
• Good knowledge of Linux administration
• Experience with AWS networking (VPC, Subnets, Route 53, NAT, VPN)
• Hands-on experience with CloudWatch monitoring & alerts
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of Docker (Kubernetes is a plus)
• Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and high availability
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
