The Senior Billing Engineer will manage and oversee the billing process for all real estate projects, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely revenue recognition, and compliance with contracts. The role requires coordination with project teams, site engineers, and finance/accounting departments to maintain precise records and support project cost management.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and submit periodic project bills (monthly, milestone-based, or final invoices) in alignment with contract terms.

Verify quantities, measurements, and specifications from BOQs, drawings, and site reports before billing.

Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and accounts team to resolve discrepancies in billing.

Track client payments and follow up on pending invoices to ensure timely collection.

Maintain detailed billing records, variation orders, and supporting documentation for audits.

Assist in project cost reconciliation and financial reporting for management.

Review change orders, additional works, and contract amendments for billing purposes.

Mentor junior billing engineers or assistants and ensure knowledge transfer.

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and legal regulations.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in billing/estimation in real estate or construction projects.

Strong knowledge of construction materials, measurement methods, and costing.

Familiarity with real estate project documentation, BOQs, and contracts.

Proficiency in MS Excel, billing software, and project management tools.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
