Sr. Blockchain & MERN Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Blockchain & MERN Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance blockchain-based web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) along with practical experience in blockchain technologies, smart contract development, and Web3 integrations.

This role focuses on technical excellence, architecture, and development ownership, working closely with team leads, product managers, and designers to deliver robust blockchain solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Development & Architecture

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using MERN stack and Blockchain technologies.
• Build scalable and maintainable system architectures following best coding practices.
• Develop, test, deploy, and optimize smart contracts using Solidity.
• Integrate blockchain functionality using Web3.js, ethers.js, and related libraries.
• Implement APIs, wallets, tokens, NFTs, and on-chain/off-chain data interactions.
• Ensure application security, performance optimization, and reliability.

Collaboration & Code Quality

• Work closely with Team Leads, Product Managers, Designers, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high coding standards.
• Assist in technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the development team.
• Support junior developers through guidance and technical assistance when required.

Innovation & Optimization

• Stay updated with emerging trends in Blockchain, Web3, and Full-Stack Development.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement, scalability enhancement, and cost optimization.
• Proactively suggest technical improvements aligned with product and business objectives.

Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Solid understanding of Blockchain fundamentals, Solidity, Web3.js, and ethers.js.
• Experience working with Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain (BSC), or other EVM-compatible networks.
• Practical knowledge of smart contract standards: ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155.
• Experience with wallet integrations (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean).
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB and MySQL.

Education & Experience

• Proven track record of delivering blockchain-based platforms such as DeFi, NFT marketplaces, exchanges, wallets, or crypto payment systems.
