Job Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Sr. Business Development Executive to join our software house. The ideal candidate must have proven experience working with UK clients, specifically in selling IT services, software development, and digital products.
The candidate must be a strong communicator, skilled in prospecting, and capable of engaging decision-makers through cold calls, emails, and professional presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with UK-based clients to promote IT services, custom software development, mobile applications, web applications, and digital solutions.
  • Perform cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting to generate qualified leads.
  • Prepare and submit proposals on platforms such as Upwork, Bark, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or direct client channels.
  • Understand software development frameworks, modern technologies, and industry trends to effectively communicate technical offerings.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to develop tailored proposals, technical documentation, and service presentations.
  • Conduct discovery calls, requirement gathering, and product/service demonstrations.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through consistent effort and strategic execution.
  • Maintain CRM records and provide weekly sales reports and forecasting.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience dealing with UK clients in the IT services or software development sector.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), web/app development technologies, and trending market tools.
  • Expertise in bidding platforms, outbound lead generation, and proposal writing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and follow-up abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Energetic, positive attitude with the ability to handle pressure and achieve goals.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
