We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager with 10+ years of experience in water and wastewater treatment, specifically in UAE or Middle East market. with must having UAE Driving license. The role is responsible for driving strategic growth, securing high-value projects, and strengthening relationships with government authorities, utilities, EPC contractors, and industrial clients across the region. Deep regional knowledge, strong networks, and a track record of winning major tenders are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with Middle East market dynamics
Identify and pursue new opportunities with municipal authorities, utilities, EPC contractors, developers, and industrial clients
Manage end-to-end tendering activities including prequalification, RFQs, RFPs, and contract negotiations
Build and maintain strong relationships with key regional stakeholders, consultants, and decision-makers
Lead proposal development in coordination with engineering, project, and finance teams
Monitor regional market trends, water regulations, PPP frameworks, and government initiatives
Drive growth in strategic segments such as desalination, reuse, ZLD, STP/ETP, industrial water, and sludge management
Represent the company at regional exhibitions, conferences, and client meetings (e.g., ADIPEC, WETEX, Saudi Water Expo)
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance reports for senior management
Support and mentor junior business development and sales professionals
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline (MBA preferred)
Minimum 10 years of business development experience in the Middle East water and wastewater sector
Strong understanding of regional procurement, tendering, and approval processes
Proven experience working with government bodies, utilities, EPCs, and industrial groups
Solid technical knowledge of water and wastewater treatment technologies, including RO, SWRO, MBR, tertiary treatment, reuse, ZLD, and sludge treatment
Demonstrated success in securing large-scale infrastructure and industrial projects
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong regional network and relationship management capabilities
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Commercially astute with the ability to manage complex contracts
Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability
Cultural awareness and experience working in multi-national environments
Willingness to travel extensively across the Middle East
Preferred Attributes
Experience in PPP, BOT, BOOT, or IWPP/IWTP projects
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain
Arabic language skills (advantageous but not mandatory)
