Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Business Intelligence to support our fast growing organization located in San Jose, CA. The Business Intelligence Analyst reports to the Business Intelligence Direct and is responsible for day to day business activities in accordance with Super Micro's established policies and procedures. The ideal candidate must have solid interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):- Analyzes complex business Supply Chain/ Planning problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers
- Providing reports through office applications to improve business processes
- Analyzing business requirements and processes and recommending them to the management and executives for implementation
- Responsible for coordination and success of large multi-functional Business Intelligence projects to drive engagement and alignment to support departments digital and data strategy
- Identifying the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability
- Develop and maintain databases, reporting dashboards, data models and governance processes
- Source to Target mappings / Functional Spec creation, documentation and communicate with Development teams test Data setup and UAT coordination with IT and Business, Follow-up on IT application gaps / issues
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (BS required)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data and analytics projects
- 3+ years of experience working directly with business users to develop metrics and KPI definitions, and to resolve data quality issues using SAP and/or other ERP systems
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis, querying, and validation
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, including report/dashboard development, data modeling, and DAX
- Proficient computer user with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Word
- 3+ years of experience in the high-tech manufacturing industry strongly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based, cross-functional environment
$135,000 - $150,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
