Job description:
1. Camp Administration & Supervision
- Manage and supervise the overall operations of the labor/staff camp.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all camp-related issues.
- Monitor the daily functioning of the camp, ensuring smooth operation of all departments (maintenance, cleaning, catering, etc.).
- Develop and implement camp rules and ensure all residents comply.
2. Accommodation Management
- Ensure optimal allocation of rooms based on company policies and staff categories (skilled/unskilled, staff/labor).
- Maintain updated occupancy records, including check-ins and check-outs.
- Coordinate with HR/Admin to receive newly joined employees and facilitate proper accommodation.
- Manage bed space availability to avoid overcrowding or underutilization.
3. Housekeeping & Cleanliness
- Ensure daily cleaning of common areas, toilets, kitchens, and rooms.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of cleaning staff and issue instructions for improvement when needed.
- Conduct weekly inspections of cleanliness and hygiene within the camp.
4. Maintenance & Infrastructure
- Monitor all camp facilities including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, water supply, sewage, and pest control.
- Raise maintenance requests to the maintenance team or third-party vendors.
- Ensure timely completion of repair works and report delays to management.
- Keep a log of all maintenance activities.
5. Catering & Kitchen Supervision
- Supervise meal planning and kitchen operations (if meals are provided in camp).
- Ensure that meals are prepared in a hygienic manner and served on time.
- Handle food-related complaints and resolve them promptly.
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and liaise with the procurement team.
6. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Compliance
- Ensure that camp premises comply with local municipality and civil defense regulations.
- Conduct regular safety drills and train camp residents in basic fire safety and emergency procedures.
- Report accidents or health-related incidents immediately.
- Ensure availability and use of PPEs where required.
7. Security & Access Control
- Manage access to the camp to prevent unauthorized entry.
- Supervise security personnel and ensure surveillance systems (if available) are functional.
- Maintain a visitor log and issue gate passes as per company policy.
8. Employee Welfare & Discipline
- Act as a mediator in case of disputes between residents.
- Handle complaints and grievances tactfully and escalate major issues to HR/Admin.
- Monitor general behavior, hygiene, and discipline of camp residents.
- Enforce a zero-tolerance policy on alcohol, drugs, fighting, and other violations.
9. Inventory & Asset Management
- Maintain updated stock records for bedding, kitchenware, cleaning materials, gas cylinders, etc.
- Conduct periodic audits of camp assets.
- Submit requisitions for replenishment as needed.
10. Coordination & Reporting
- Liaise with HR, Admin, Projects, and Transportation departments regularly for staff movements.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports on occupancy, maintenance, health issues, violations, etc.
- Keep HR updated on absentees, absconders, or unreported movements.
- Maintain documentation such as maintenance logs, complaint registers, room allocation lists, and utility bills (if applicable).
11. Camp Budgeting & Cost Control
- Control and monitor camp-related expenses.
- Ensure utilities (water, electricity, gas) are used efficiently to avoid wastage.
- Monitor catering and housekeeping costs and report anomalies.
12. Transportation Coordination (if applicable)
- Coordinate pick-up/drop-off schedules for workers going to/from sites.
- Ensure company vehicles follow route timings and are maintained properly.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
