Compensation: $90-$110

Position Overview

The Sr. Commercial Financial Analyst will support the Commercial Finance Manager and cross-functional teams by delivering financial insights and tools that drive business performance. This role focuses on continuous improvement, accurate reporting, and actionable analysis to support strategic decision-making. The analyst will collaborate across departments to ensure data integrity and provide recommendations for process enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with the Commercial team and internal departments to serve as the primary contact for analysis and reporting.
• Maintain forecast files and manage allocation phasing adjustments to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with Commercial Excellence to validate distributor reporting data integrity.
• Own divisional data loads into financial systems during LE and Budget cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare presentations and key reporting deliverables that summarize complex data for stakeholders.
• Participate in S&OP meetings to provide commercial insights and learn business drivers.
• Conduct commercial performance analysis using multiple data sources to identify trends and opportunities.
• Partner with Customer Service on order management, validate order releases, and analyze variances including overstock or out-of-stock risks.
• Continuously identify process improvement opportunities to enhance accuracy and consistency of financial information.
• Provide ad hoc business support and analysis as needed.

Required Experience/Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in finance or accounting analysis with strong analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and solid knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience/Skills

• Previous experience in the Spirits/adult beverage or CPG industry.
• Familiarity with financial data systems such as TM1 and SAP.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline required.
• Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred but not required.
• Continuing education in financial analysis or business analytics is a plus.
