Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant in Gynaecology to lead clinical operations, ensure high standards of patient care, oversee OPD/IPD management, and support overall operational excellence within the department. The role involves both clinical responsibilities and operational leadership to enhance patient experience and departmental efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
- Conduct OPD consultations, patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Manage obstetric and gynaecological cases with expertise.
- Perform gynaecological procedures and surgeries (as per specialization).
- Provide antenatal, postnatal, and reproductive health counselling.
- Handle emergency gynaecological and obstetric cases when required.
- Ensure accurate documentation, case history, and clinical notes.
Operational Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinical operations of the gynaecology department.
- Ensure adherence to medical protocols, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with nurses, technicians, and support staff to streamline patient flow.
- Monitor and improve patient experience, care delivery, and service quality.
- Participate in audits, case discussions, and quality control activities.
- Support hospital leadership in planning and implementing departmental improvements.
- Coordinate with administrative teams for inventory, equipment needs, and staffing.
- Mentor junior doctors, residents, and clinical teams.
- Participate in health camps, awareness programs, and community initiatives.
Requirements
- MBBS + MD/MS/DNB in Gynaecology & Obstetrics from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical registration UP State Council.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in clinical gynaecology and obstetrics.
- Strong expertise in OPD management, procedures, and patient care.
- Experience in clinical operations or leadership roles is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, patient handling, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹130,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
