Job Purpose:
To manage and oversee contract management activities by leading contract reviews, supporting negotiations, managing contractual risks and strengthening contract governance across projects and operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end contract management for assigned projects or categories from contract drafting to closure.

Review and negotiate commercial and contractual terms with vendors, contractors and partners.

Identify, assess and manage contractual risks, deviations and exposure, etc. and recommend mitigation measures.

Provide contract interpretation and advisory support to procurement, project, finance and legal teams.

Manage variations, claims, disputes and extensions in coordination with internal stakeholders.

Ensure contracts are aligned with approved commercial strategies, risk appetite and governance frameworks.

Review contract performance, compliance with obligations and adherence to timelines and milestones.

Support resolution of disputes through structured documentation, contractual position papers and negotiations.

Strengthen contract processes, templates and controls to improve consistency and risk management.
Qualifications & Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / PG in Management.
-
5-10 years for Engineering / 5-7 years for Engineering + MBA of experience in contract management, preferably in project-based or capital-intensive environments.

Strong work ethic, Strong understanding of commercial terms, risk clauses, claims management and contract negotiations.

Experience working closely with legal, procurement, finance and project teams.

Strong stakeholder management, judgement and problem-solving skills.
