Job description:
Scaleup Connect is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer for one of its US-based clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing scale-up operating in the e-commerce space. The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic thinker with a strong design foundation and experience delivering high-quality visuals across digital platforms.

In this role, you will lead design initiatives, develop impactful visual concepts, and ensure consistent, high-quality creative output across e-commerce marketplaces and marketing channels. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where creativity, ownership, and attention to detail are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Design:

• Design engaging visuals for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
• Develop advanced graphic concepts that align with brand identity and communication goals.
• Create visually appealing and effective designs and graphics for digital media in a B2C business, including compelling listing images, A+ content, and banners for Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and other e-commerce platforms.

UI/UX Design:

• Create user-friendly interfaces and experiences for websites and mobile applications.
• Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.

Video Animation:

• Develop animations and motion graphics for promotional videos, ads, and social media.
• Edit videos with advanced tools to achieve professional-quality output.

Collaboration & Concept Development:

• Manage design projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and creative teams to brainstorm ideas, understand project requirements, and present design concepts that deliver creative solutions.

Tool Expertise:

• Use tools like Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, and Canva to produce exceptional visuals.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and tools in graphic design, video editing, and animation.

Team Leadership:

• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on their projects.
• Maintain design consistency and contribute to improving creative processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in graphic design, UI/UX design, and video animation.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in social media posts, UI/UX, animations, and advanced graphic concepts.
• Ability to take initiative, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for design trends.
• Must have experience working on e-commerce platforms (Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc.), with knowledge of their basic operations and prior work on their product listings.
• Ability to collaborate with marketing and product teams to design effective solutions tailored to a B2C audience.
