SR. CREDIT ANALYST
Primary Purpose of the Job:
To protect QatarEnergy Trading from exposure to losses resulting from defaults of trading counterparties. The primary functions of the Sr. Credit Analyst are to manage Credit Risk and Trade Finance.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Experience of around 10 years in Credit Risk Management in a Commodity Trading firm / Global Bank.
- Good knowledge of Financial & Accounting concepts.
- Have very good report writing skills.
- Have the ability to develop new financial procedures, processes, flowcharts etc.
- Possess strong analytical skills.
- Should be tactful and have logical approach to problem solving.
- Should have good command of written and spoken English.
- Good command over MS Office Suites: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to deal with conflict effectively and challenge when necessary.
- Should be result oriented and focused team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, FRM, PRM would be an added advantage.
