SR. CREDIT ANALYST

Primary Purpose of the Job:

To protect QatarEnergy from exposure to losses resulting from defaults by QatarEnergy

lending and trading counterparties. Sr. Credit Analyst will have two primary functions Trade Finance and Credit Risk.

Required Experience and Skills:

• At least 8-1 O years of experience in the relevant field
• Good knowledge of Financial Accounting & Management Systems
• Good knowledge of Financial & Accounting concepts
• Have very good report writing skills
• Have the ability to develop new financial procedures, processes, flowcharts etc.
• Possess strong analytical skills
• Should be tactful and have logical approach to problem solving
• Should have good command of written and spoken English
• Should have thorough knowledge of latest accounting theories, principles & practices.
• Good command over MS Office Suites: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Have the inclination to learn new techniques and methods to streamline existing financial processes and principles thereof.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree/Professional in economics, accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA or CPA in Finance/ Accounting would be added advantage.
