Job Description: Senior Data Analyst

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to help organizations make data-driven decisions. This role involves advanced analytics, dashboard creation, reporting, stakeholder communication, and mentoring junior analysts.

Key Responsibilities1. Data Analysis & Interpretation

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Perform advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
• Translate business problems into analytical solutions.

2. Reporting & Visualization

• Design and develop dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Present insights to senior management in a clear and actionable format.
• Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency.

3. Data Management

• Extract, clean, and validate data from multiple sources (SQL databases, APIs, Excel, etc.).
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams for data pipeline improvements.

4. Business Collaboration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Operations, Sales).
• Provide strategic recommendations based on data findings.
• Support decision-making through scenario analysis and forecasting.

5. Advanced Analytics

• Build forecasting models and performance metrics frameworks.
• Conduct A/B testing and experiment analysis.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.

6. Leadership & Mentorship

• Guide and mentor junior data analysts.
• Review analytical work for accuracy and quality.
• Contribute to analytics best practices and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
• 4–8+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Strong understanding of statistics and data modeling concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of machine learning basics.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills.
• Experience in industry-specific analytics (Textiles, FMCG, E-commerce, Finance, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
