About the Role:
As a CBRE Data Center Sr.Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance and complex correctiverepairs within a Data Center operation.
Thisjob is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They areresponsible for technical maintenance services in critical clientenvironments.
What You’ll Do:- Manage daily site inspections of all Mechanical& Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing andmaintenance.
- Ensure the site's environmental conditionsprovide a safe work environment.
- React to Building Management System alarms, andcomplete emergency repairs as needed.
- Make sure third parties and vendors followcompliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and all applicablelaws and regulations. Accompany vendor’s on-site visits as needed and ensuresite standards are met.
- Verify subcontractor performance meets allrequirements per the Master Service Agreement.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance andreactive maintenance on all equipment. Assist staff with trickysituations.
- Check BMS for running and alarm conditions andrespond to complex HVAC-related client problems.
- Review meter readings from UPS, PDU andutilities to ensure accurate information is documented.
- Provide Mechanical and Electricaltroubleshooting. Provide fixes to facility and plant faults and defects.
- Ensure that suitable spares are available tocarry out maintenance at the site.
- Complete assigned work according to establishedprocesses and procedures. Follow all safety processes and requirements andconfirm all regulatory requirements and quality standards are met.
- Operate a permit-to-work system under thecompany’s health and safety procedures. Verify that appropriate controls arewithin the Permit-to-Work systems.
- Ensure that ACOP’s applicable to the maintenanceindustry procedures.
- Conduct routine quality checks for comprehensivemaintenance records. • Help create and develop work processes,Job Hazard Analysis reports, and SOPs for critical work with risk assessment.Ensure that CERM documents and logbooks are updated.
- Complete all required training to ensuresuccessful completion of all job-related responsibilities. • Havesome knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience inapplying them.

What You’ll Need:- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination ofexperience and education will be considered.
- Ability to work shifts that may include weekendsand holidays • Meetthe physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking,climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs.or more.
- Ability to use existing procedures to solvestandard problems.
- Experience with analyzing information andstandard practices to make judgments.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with a strong inquisitivemindset.
- Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculatedifficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial relatedcalculations.
