We are seeking a Sr. Database Developer to build out database schema, support existing databases, monitor performance, and deploy schema changes between our environments for our development team. We also require the need to deliver data to our customers using feeds and reports. Identify sql performance problems, propose new solutions and implement changes to resolve these issues. In this role, you will be responsible for working with Developers, Architect & BA to develop and resolve current issues; working with DevOps, Project Managers & management to provide necessary data for report writer as requested; You will also gain exposure to the many other products/platforms that our team develops and/or uses.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL databases
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Implement and maintain database security measures
• Develop and execute database scripts, stored procedures, and functions
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
• Work within the Agile methodology to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Mentor and guide junior developers
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in SQL database development
• 6+ years of experience in Data analysis
• 4+ years of experience optimizing code for performance tuning
• Experience with Azure Cloud and Azure data management
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization
• Solid understanding of database design principles and best practices
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams
• Proven excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proven solid communication and collaboration skills
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven to be highly accountable and self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in SQL or database management
• Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database)
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of SQL data architect
• Knowledge of SQL schema design and normalization
• Knowledge of SQL performance tuning
• Proven ability to document work
