SR. DESIGNER, SEASONAL + LIFESTAGE, BRAND CAMPAIGN

The Creative Studio (CS) is the in-house creative agency for our retail client. Our team develops breakthrough and distinctive omnichannel brand design systems that meet customer needs and drive business objectives while keeping our brand relevant in culture. We use creativity and design to make our brand an obvious choice for all.

We are seeking a self-starting and experienced Senior Designer to spearhead design efforts for modules and templates for our digital channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, translating campaigns for web and app-based creative within Figma. This role requires experience designing and scaling systems, implementing seasonal visual identities, prototyping, developing templates and Figma libraries, and collaborating with partners using a blend of strong leadership and hands-on creative expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration: Ideate, create simple prototypes, develop templates, and translate digital design systems. Work with UX/UI and copywriting partners to build modules that live across our digital experiences. Pursue ways that we can work better, faster. Manage projects that are on-brief and polished, mitigating feedback, ultimately keeping workstreams on track. Conduct walkthroughs and trainings for the CS team of designers, copywriters, and operations on the requirements of a module and how to execute assets from the templates.
• Trend Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behaviors to inform design decisions and maintain our brand's competitive edge.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality and craftsmanship throughout the design and implementation process, ensuring that our digital experiences meet or exceed expectations. Ensure work adheres to our company's Living Design and Enterprise Brand guidelines. Pressure test and VQA, ensuring content is displaying as intended. Maintain the visual asset guide.
• Project Oversight: Manage high-profile design projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, advertising, fine arts, or a related field and 5+ years of experience designing for digital experiences in a senior role.
• Working knowledge of HTML & CSS and After Effects.
• Proven track record of creating successful digital design systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate external artist partners and connect across the Creative Studio.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment leading design work.
• Interested in A.I. and new ways of working.

Skills:

• Exceptional portfolio showcasing design process and strategic thinking.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools and software, including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Slides, and Sketch.
• Understanding of responsive and adaptive design and ADA compliance.
