Key Responsibilities:
We’re seeking a hands-on Marketing leader to drive our growth initiatives. As the Sr. Director / VP of Marketing, you will set the strategic direction for marketing initiatives and ensure that strategy is executed to deliver measurable results. You’ll report directly to the CEO and serve as a key member of the leadership team, responsible for leading a high‑performing marketing function that fuels our growth in the PEO and staffing markets. This role demands versatility—think campaign execution, content creation, website management, and reporting—all with minimal oversight.
  • Lead Generation & Campaign Execution: Design and launch lead-generation campaigns via email, paid channels (LinkedIn, Google Ads), and webinars. Segment target audiences (e.g., SMBs, staffing agencies) and tailor messaging accordingly. Collaborate with Sales to ensure lead handoffs and follow-ups are timely and effective.
  • Content & Collateral Development: Create and/or manage production of Case studies, whitepapers, blogs, and landing pages, Client onboarding kits, sell sheets, and pitch decks. Ensure all content reflects PEO-relevant themes: compliance relief, WC savings, HR efficiency, etc.
  • Marketing Automation & CRM: Use HubSpot (or Salesforce/ActiveCampaign) to build workflows and nurture sequences. Launch and optimize drip campaigns, retargeting flows, and event-triggered emails.
  • Website & SEO Management: Maintain and update web content—landing pages, blogs, microsites. Implement on-page SEO best practices to boost organic visibility and engagement.
  • Sales Enablement: Equip account managers with updated decks, vertical-specific assets, and co-branded materials. Coordinate monthly client-facing newsletters to highlight product updates, industry news, or legal compliance alerts.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze campaign performance: leads, cost per lead, pipeline contribution, MQL-to-SQL ratios. Prepare weekly/monthly dashboards for stakeholders. Identify opportunities to refine targeting, messaging, and channel mix.
  • Mentor and develop the marketing team: Recruit, inspire and manage a high functioning marketing team; ensure clear roles and expectations; and foster a culture of creativity and accountability. Promote cross‑functional collaboration with sales, finance, product and operations.
Basic qualifications:
Bachelors degree required in marketing, communications or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 8–10 years of progressive marketing experience in B2B services, SaaS, staffing or PEO, including at least five years in a senior‑leadership role overseeing a marketing department.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft marketing strategies and translate them into integrated campaigns that drive measurable growth, with a track record of improving lead generation, pipeline velocity and brand awareness.
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of AI, marketing automation and analytics platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign), advertising channels (LinkedIn, Google Ads) and SEO/SEM best practices. Experience optimizing user funnels and landing pages.
  • Comfortable working with data to track KPIs, interpret results and iterate campaigns. Proficiency in web analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) and ability to manage budgets and forecasts.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to executives, team members, clients and partners. Proven ability to recruit, develop and mentor high‑performing teams.
  • Additional Skillset Requirements:
    • Writing strong copy for digital and print
    • Running end-to-end digital campaigns solo
    • Basic SEO and website CMS management
    • Comfortable with data analytics—tracking, interpreting, optimizing
