Sr Driver - Shuttle Driver

Utah Valley University is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Senior Shuttle Driver to support Athletic team travel. This part-time role plays a vital part in ensuring teams arrive at the SLC and Provo airports safely, comfortably, and on schedule. The position offers meaningful, behind-the-scenes impact within collegiate athletics, flexible part-time hours, and the opportunity to work independently while contributing to a team-centered environment. Ideal candidates take pride in punctuality, professionalism, and vehicle care, as this role requires careful pre-trip preparation, safe driving practices, and post-trip maintenance of the Athletic People Mover vehicle. Summary of Responsibilities

• Transporting Athletic Teams to and from the SLC or Provo Airport or other local destinations.
• Maintaining the Athletic People Mover after each trip gas, cleaning, and repairs. Address other issues arising on vehicle when necessary.
• Keeping an accurate record of scheduled trips. Being punctual in picking up teams to ensure ample time to make scheduled flights.

Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications

• Graduated with a standard high school degree or the equivalent AND 2 years of experience related to key roles and responsibilities.
• Must have a class B-CDL License with Passenger Endorsement

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Knowledge

• Knowledge of basic vehicle mechanical functions.

• Skilled in driving and maintaining a clean and well-running vehicle.

• Ability to drive large passenger vehicles safely and effectively.
• Ability to be punctual and professional in dress and demeanor.
