Purpose of the role
This is an exciting time to work in General Mills’ Solutions Delivery organization!
We are accelerating Digital Transformation of our Supply Chain operations to provide a competitive advantage to our business. To achieve this, we are looking for a Sr D&T Analyst, with a passion for business process automation through advanced technology, to join our Supply Chain End to End Logistics Flow (ELF) Solutions Delivery team in Transformation role.


The ELF D&T team partners with business to provide consultation & deliver robust technical solutions. We leverage tools like SAP S/4, OMP (Integrated Planning), Palantir etc. & other legacy custom applications to support our Supply Chain Operations, creating a faster path to activating GMI’s Digital Supply Chain goal. Below are the key objectives for this role.

  • Transform Supply Chain – ELF Analytics Transformation, Intelligent execution Products Transformation under Product Platform Model (Millswork 2.0)
  • Provide Technical consultation on systems supporting our Industry leading Logistics execution business processes leveraging Palantir Foundry, OMP, and SAP to optimize intelligent execution in logistics.
  • Champion/shepherd for all things within Logistic and Intelligent execution Data analytics and decisions on Palantir Platform (including data, process, & enhancements)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
.
  • Drive projects along Supply Chain business processes; Work with SAP teams, ML engineers in the Product Platform model. Lead the team with deep knowledge into Planning and Deployment Supply chain areas
  • Serve as the technical SME on technology for GMI Supply Chain teams, uncovering key business questions and providing analysis, insights, and solutions to answer them.
  • Work as an SME to define project requirements in collaboration with internal business clients/users; Establish best in industry practices for Logistics intelligent execution tools and eliminate gaps via partnership with D&T architects; communicate throughout the entire development process.
  • Partner in developing new capabilities that leverage the Cloud /SAAS platforms.
  • Drive ELF transformation initiatives through Palantir-based tools like Load Levelling, Push Optimizer, and OMP Priority Groups Optimizer.
  • Serve as the technical SME for logistics execution transformation across transportation, deployment, and warehousing.
  • Collaborating with Supply Chain planners, deployment teams, and business leads to identify constraints and build automated, ML-driven optimization solutions.
  • Lead integration efforts with SAP, OMP, and other supply chain systems to enable automated workflows and write-back capabilities.
  • Translate operational KPIs into data models and dashboards for logistics stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the design and development of a Digital Twin of the logistics network for scenario simulation and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in Agile PODs and drive delivery cadence with cross-functional team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Full-time Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in technology delivery, with 7+ years in logistics and supply chain systems.
  • Proven hands-on experience with logistics platforms like SAP TM, OMP, or TMS/WMS tools.
  • Prior experience with Palantir Foundry, Python scripting, SQL, and building operational dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of transportation planning, deployment optimization, and load management.
  • Experience in building decision-support tools with AI/ML logic and cost/service optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile teams, DevOps, and cloud environments like GCP or Azure.
  • Team player, self-driven individual.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain Processes: transportation planning, deployment execution, load balancing, warehousing KPIs, and cost/service trade-offs.
  • Working knowledge of Deployment strategies and Upstream/Downstream Impacts of those strategies
  • Working knowledge of SAP S/4 Logistics processes and Data elements
  • Ability to translate business problems into data-driven decision models using Excel, SQL, or scripting tools (e.g., Python/R).
  • Demonstrated experience in building or using analytics tools or dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio) to drive operational insights.
  • Stakeholder engagement and ability to communicate analytics and decisions in business language to supply chain users and leaders.

Intermediate
  • Knowledge of forecasting, inventory management, or deployment planning processes.
  • Familiarity with data preparation and cleaning from multiple sources (SAP/OMP/ERP tools).
  • Understanding of optimization logic – prioritization, constraint-based filtering, scenario analysis (via tools or manual modelling).
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with planning, logistics, or transportation stakeholders.
  • Exposure to project-based work in agile delivery models or POD-style structures.
  • Exposure to Data analytics platforms and Data wrangling.
Basic
  • Curiosity to learn and apply automation, analytics, or digital transformation tools to supply chain problems.
  • Awareness of enterprise systems such as SAP, OMP, or WMS/TMS platforms.
  • Understanding of logistics KPIs like OTIF, Fill Rate, Transportation Utilization, etc.
  • Willingness to upskill in platforms such as Palantir, GCP, or Python through internal learning or mentorship.
