Sr. Editor

• 5+ years of experience in the content creation/editorial field and writing bilingual content in both Arabic and English
• Good understanding of government communication strategies and digital engagement
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
• Reports to the Experienced Editor, Stream Lead, and Team Lead

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Write Arabic and English content for Hukoomi platform including news, events,services, articles, topics ... etc
• Translate Arabic content into English and vice-versa whenever required
• Check any editorial requests as requested, report any remarks, and apply the necessary editorial changes
• Update any required content sections on Hukoomi platform whenever needed
• Follow editorial guidelines, accessibility guidelines, and any other framework,policies, or procedures
• Gather information from credible sources and comply with content copyrights,before creating or publishing any content
• Follow content management process by sharing all the content deliverables created to the Experienced Editor who will conduct the first review
• Perform other duties as requested and follow required reporting and KPIs

Pay: QAR15,000.00 - QAR16,000.00 per hour
