Sr. Electrical Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer (DEWA Certified) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, execution, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems in high-rise buildings with DEWA/Trakhees regulations and UAE standards withs solid site execution, contracting/fit-out background in project execution, site management, and stakeholder coordination.

Ensure strict adherence to project timelines, proficiency in Auto Cad, shop drawings, as built records & submittals. Lead & supervise site execution teams, subcontractors, and vendors. Coordinate with engineering, consultants and client teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit DEWA drawings, load schedules, BMS and approvals for new electrical connections.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and DEWA engineers to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of LV systems, MDBs, SMDBs, lighting, and power distribution networks & BMS systems .
• Prepare technical documents, material submittals, and progress reports.
• Support procurement by reviewing and approving technical specifications of electrical materials.
• Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met effectively.
• Supervise site execution teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and client teams.
• Monitor project progress and prepare reports for senior management.
• Handle risk assessments, change orders, and technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team of technicians and supervisors.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• DEWA Certification (preferred).
• Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in building construction & fit out works
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project controls and execution.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED75,000.00 - AED100,000.00 per year
