Sr Engineer - Banking Operation and Corporate Applications

Scope of Work:

• Develop, Implement and maintain Banking Operation applications.
• This role is required to support the Expert and Sr Expert in the technical requirements , troubleshoot issues and provide permanent solutions
• This role would help the organization in continuing their payment , compliance and corporate business operations which are directly affecting the customers.

Responsibilities:

• Handle applications Installation and configuration within the bank.
• Participate in applications development (whenever is required), project implementation and post implementation support.
• Handle tasks related to applications administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and remediation of the issues assigned to them.
• Take ownership of technical issues, performance issues, report them to vendor, regular follow up with vendor, get the fixes, and follow the process of testing and deploying on production.
• Respond to general questions & inquiries related to applications and resolve tickets in a timely manner according to SLA.
• Assist business in UAT test scenario creation and completing them.
• Follow policies and procedures in implementing the best practices for the change control.
• Collaborates with other professionals to ensure high quality deliverables within Bank guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Perform a variety of tasks within the general scope of the job as assigned by the management.
• Support Intellect iGTB products like ARX,CBX,VAM,CNR,OF and H2H
• Logs monitoring

Experience:

• Experience in banking, corporate and compliance domains (mandatory)
• Good communication skills in Arabic/English
• Application Security concepts
• Basic infrastructure and networking concepts
• Ability to prepare test cases and assist in UAT for application testing.
• Experience in SW development, integration tools, AI and automation tools.
• Linux environment
• Oracle SQL

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / IT or any equivalent (MBA is a plus)
• 2 to 4 years of related experience in Intellect iGTB and Banking industry
• PMP /Business Analysis/ ITIL / CRISC / Oracle or any equivalent certificates is a plus

Skills:

• Remedy system.
• VISIO
• Jira System.
• PL/SQL, PostGres, Oracle DB ( mandatory)
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux OS (intermediate proficiency)
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, javascript, python,C++
• Experience in web service development/ trouble shooting
• Experience in various solution flavours e.g wildfly, Jboss, nginix, apache etc
