Key Responsibilities :
- Execute preventive maintenance (PM) as per schedule for plant machinery.
- Ensure proper health of M/C panels, VFDs, motors, transformers, DG sets, HT/LT panels.
- Conduct predictive checks using IR thermometer, megger testing, and vibration checks.
- Update PM checklists and ensure 100% compliance.
- Attend electromechanical breakdowns and restore operations with minimum downtime.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective & preventive actions. (POKA-YOKE implementation).
- Maintain documentation of breakdown logs and MTTR/MTBF trends.
D. Electrical System Management
- Monitor power consumption, load distribution, and ensure efficient usage.
- Oversee UPS, stabilizers, AMF panels, APFC panels, and capacitor banks.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards: PPE, LOTO, Arc Flash, earthing.
- Conduct regular safety checks for earthing pits, DBs, panels & cables.
G. Continuous Improvement
- Suggest and implement energy-saving initiatives.
- Reduce repeated breakdowns using RCA, 5 Why, and Kaizen approach.
- Work Experience: Maintenance department in manufacturing industries only, Automobile industry will be preferred.
