SR. ENGINEER - QUALITY (ELECTRICAL)

The main purpose of the Engineer - Quality (Electrical) is to schedule and execute quality audits in an efficient and timely manner.

• Support the day-to-day responsibilities of the project’s QA team in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures and meeting the approved budget.
• Support the responsibility for all QA activities.
• Assist Project QA Manager in analyzing and monitoring the performance of project Quality team against schedule and reflect in monthly and quarterly project review meetings.
• Support in ensuring QA deliverables schedule is updated based on identified project risks and mitigation plans.
• Support in maintaining the Company’s quality certifications.
• Ensure Quality policy is implemented to minimize hazards.
• Support in ensuring compliance with Quality legislation, regulations, rules, standards, and requirements.
• Assist the management on the effectiveness of the implementation of Quality program.
• Support in working with all divisions to ensure that any major issues are identified and addressed, including issues raised by clients in these regards.
• Assist in coordinating with all parties for the execution of periodic audits related to Quality.
• Support the development of the company’s expertise, know-how, controls and capabilities in quality Provide support for the professional development (including training) of direct reports: staff and managers.
• Support in managing the responsibility for the maintenance and effectiveness of the Project’s Quality System, and supports the Quality and Project teams in selecting, coordinating, controlling, and directing activities and initiating continuous improvement.
• Support in ensuring Quality requirements, specifications, standards, and processes are complied.
• Plan and administer a quality assurance internal audit program that aims at ensuring continuous and consistent with the adopted and established quality standards, particularly those of ISO.
• Provide recommendations on continuous improvement related to new and existing processes through internal audit and site visits.
• Communicate audit results and recommendations with concerned entities, particularly Departments/Projects managers.
• Ensure the compliance with the overall Quality and ISO operations in accordance with safety, environmental and budgetary requirements and ensuring continuous compliance.
• Develop and maintain Quality Manual and Quality Procedures including QAQC forms.
• Prepare Quality Training presentations for Project QA/QC use.
• Prepare and conduct compliance check against the current process and procedures (department).
• Prepare Annual Management Review Report to be presented to Top Management.
• Prepare QAQC Tender requirements (Project Quality Plan, etc..) as needed for tender purposes.
• Prepare QAQC feedback/answers from Pre-Qualification requirements as needed for Pre -qualification purposes.
• Prepare and arrange interview schedule for QAQC candidates.
• Prepare and monitor QA/QC staff across project including Saudization rate.
• Help other functions in preparing and formatting their process/procedures.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English (Arabic is a plus)
• Bachelor in Engineering – Electrical or Mechanical Engineer
• Qualified ISO 9001 Internal / Lead Auditor
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Quality
• Experienced in the Middle East is a strong plus
• Knowledge in business Advisory.
• Knowledge in project management.
• Knowledge in risk management.
• Proficient in engineering knowledge.
• Proficient in QA/QC management.
• Proficient in HSE management.
Knowledge in Internal Audit.
