Estimator & Planner – Printing Industry

We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Estimator & Planner to join our printing division in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of printing production, costing, and job planning for commercial printing and packaging projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for printing, packaging, labels, brochures, and specialty printing jobs.
• Calculate material, labor, machine, finishing, and outsourcing costs for each project.
• Plan and schedule production jobs according to delivery deadlines and machine availability.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Procurement, and Quality teams for smooth job execution.
• Monitor production progress and ensure jobs are completed on time.
• Maintain costing sheets, production schedules, and job records.
• Analyze estimated versus actual costs and support cost control initiatives.
• Follow up with suppliers and outsourced vendors when required.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Printing Technology, Production Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in printing estimation and production planning.
• Good knowledge of offset, digital, packaging, and label printing processes.
• Strong understanding of printing materials and finishing methods.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation/planning software.
• Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
