Sr. Estimator / QS

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyzing the Tender / Contract documents & preparation of BOQ’s & drawings.
• Preparation of Tender / Bid documentation, project costing, joinery & fit out costing, quantitative and qualitative estimation.
• Preparation of Variation Costing, Compensation / Additional works / Additional time.
• Conducting measurements, Site valuations & quantifying the materials involved in the scope of work.
• Managing & coordinating with subcontractors and also negotiating & ensuring to get their cost proposal on time.
• Preparation of cost Value Reconciliations.
• Client interfacing and good networking in Dubai markets.
• Preparation of cost estimates for budgeting study.
• Market enquiries, cost reviewing and analysis.
• Maintenance of tender records / filing
• Preparation of claims & final Accounts
• Constantly updating price list & pricing compensation
• Follow up with all the Vendors
• Cost to company (investment into projects) analysis
• Cost benefits analysis of build-in house v/s subcontract.
• Above All do not miss an item or make an Error in Quantity Calculation

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in cost estimation within the interior fit out industry, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
