Role Description

The Senior Executive Hardware Procurement is
responsible for leading the procurement activities for hardware components and
equipment necessary for the company's operations. This role involves developing
procurement strategies, negotiating with suppliers, managing contracts, and
ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality hardware.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hardware procurement,
strong negotiation skills, and a thorough understanding of market dynamics and
supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement procurement strategies for hardware items that align with the company’s objectives.

· Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.

· Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure the best possible deals.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable sources of materials.

· Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery, and pricing.

· Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand to ensure timely procurement of materials.

· Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to avoid shortages.

· Keep abreast of market trends, changes in supply and demand, and new developments in the industry.

· Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of hardware items.

· Manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excesses.

· Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce procurement expenses.

· Work closely with engineering, operations, and finance teams to understand hardware requirements and specifications.

· Identify and mitigate risks associated with hardware procurement.

· Develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions.

· Perform various tasks as assigned by Manager Procurement

· Consume time with end users, store and vendors for reconciliation of documents

· Ensure Compliance of all HSE, HACCP, ISO 22000/9001/14000 & 45001 related guidelines related to his area of responsibility.

Skills:

· Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

Location:

Qualification

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) is a plus.

Experience

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hardware procurement would be preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
