Sr. Executive- Logistics
Role and Responsibility:
- The candidate should liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure timely delivery and compliance with international Shipping and trade regulations.
- Maintain accurate logistics shipment records and reports using Excel, ERP systems & other tools.
- Assist in analyzing logistics carrier performance metrics for global team using Excel and Power BI dashboards.
- Support supply chain initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Purchasing, warehousing, and transportation team to fulfill projects deliverable.
- Regularly update and maintain carrier rate information, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Evaluate the variance between market rates and actual KOHLER rates.
- Collaborate with the global stakeholders to build, maintain, and support the implementation of ASO (Advanced sourcing optimizer) tools for Ocean, Air, LCL/consolidation, and Customs Brokerage.
- Work with the Global team to analyze various scenarios and proposals.
- Create and maintain a global Supply chain by utilizing the information of origin Supplier, Port of Loading, Port of Sailing, Port of Arrival, Destination Port, Destination DC/Warehouse/Direct Import Customer for all lanes that are or may receive shipments.
- Maintain International Inbound Routing Guide for Ocean & Dray components.
What we are looking for from your experience
Experience requirement:
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Proven expertise in managing logistics and supply chain operations, with a deep understanding of Incoterms, international trade, tariffs, codes, and supply chain data analytics.
- Comprehensive knowledge of national and international import-export regulations and commercial practices.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, data analysis, and problem-solving abilities, ensuring optimized decision-making and outcomes.
- Highly energetic and self-motivated, with a strong focus on both internal and external customer satisfaction.
Good to have: Preference would be given to candidates with below.
1. Good to have experience in Power-BI, Excel & ERP tool.
2. Certificate Import-Export Trades, Supply Chain Management
Educational Qualification requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Organizational Relationships:
- Reports to AM – Logistics
- Regular interactions with Global Supply Chain, Transportation Operations & Purchasing teams
- Frequent interaction with Internal & external stakeholders
Other Details:
This role requires working in a day shift from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM, ensuring effective collaboration with global teams and stakeholders.
