Job Purpose:
To independently manage expediting activities for critical and high-value orders by driving delivery assurance, resolving complex issues and supporting project schedules through proactive coordination and escalation.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead expediting activities for critical, long-lead or high-value materials and services across projects.

Develop and manage detailed expediting plans and delivery schedules aligned with project timelines.

Proactively engage with vendors to monitor production progress, identify risks and drive corrective actions.

Act as the primary escalation point for delivery delays, quality issues and documentation gaps.

Coordinate closely with procurement, contracts, quality, logistics and project teams to resolve issues impacting delivery.

Review vendor progress reports, inspection plans and dispatch readiness to ensure on-time delivery.

Track and report expediting KPIs, critical item status and delivery risks to management.

Support resolution of delivery-related claims, penalties or recovery actions in coordination with contracts and procurement teams.

Drive improvements in expediting processes, trackers and reporting formats.

Guide and support junior expeditors by reviewing updates and providing direction on follow-ups and escalations.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce or Management.

6-9 years of experience in expediting or supply chain roles within project-based or manufacturing environments.

Strong understanding of manufacturing cycles, inspection processes, logistics and delivery risk management.

Ability to manage complex vendor interactions and influence outcomes without direct authority.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
-
Hands-on experience with ERP systems, expediting dashboards and advanced Excel reporting.
