Purpose of the Role:
The Senior Finance Business Partner plays a critical dual role, providing strong financial governance while actively partnering with site leadership to drive operational and financial performance. This role blends strategic financial leadership with hands-on operational involvement. You are not just reporting the numbers—you are embedded in the business, helping leaders understand what the numbers mean, why they matter, and how to act on them. This role serves as a trusted advisor to on-site leadership and a key liaison to Corporate Finance. THIS ROLE IS LOCATED IN DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA AND MAY BE A HYBRID ROLE FOR THOSE CANDIDIATES LOCATED IN THE GREATER SE FLORIDA AREA.

Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Finance Business Partner is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Reporting Structure & Governance- Serve in a dual-reporting capacity, supporting on-site leadership while partnering closely with Corporate Finance
- Act as the primary financial liaison between site operations and HQ
- Ensure financial governance, internal controls, and compliance standards are consistently upheld
Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Partnership- Partner with the General Manager in the development of the annual operating budget
- Cascade financial targets and expectations to functional leaders on site
- Collaborate with Operations leadership to identify productivity improvements and cost-optimization opportunities
- Support Sales and leadership teams in evaluating and enabling growth opportunities
- Develop forecasts that reflect both financial trends and operational realities
Reporting, Analytics & KPI Management- Own timely, cross-functional reporting that ties financial performance directly to operational outcomes
- Organize, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including cost drivers, labor efficiency, productivity, and margin performance
• Establish and maintain weekly and monthly reporting cadences for site leadership • Clearly communicate performance against targets and highlight critical-to-process metrics
Note: This position requires extensive experience with Cost Of Goods Sold (COGS) analyses.
Budget Tracking & Variance Analysis- Lead budget tracking and variance analysis of actual results versus plan
- Proactively identify trends, risks, and emerging issues that may impact financial performance
- Recommend corrective actions and partner with leaders to implement solutions
Decision Support & Business Insight
- Perform periodic cost-benefit, ROI, and scenario analyses to support data-driven decisions
- Translate financial data into actionable insights for operational and leadership teams
- Support strategic planning initiatives with sound financial modeling and analysis
Operational Engagement- Actively engage with on-site operations to gain a deep understanding of business processes
- Partner directly with supervisors and managers to understand how day-to-day decisions impact financial results
- Take a hands-on, “roll-up-your-sleeves” approach to learning the business and driving improvement
Essentials for the Role:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
Education & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field required;
- 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or controller-level roles, preferably within operations, manufacturing, industrial, or environmental services environments
- Demonstrated experience partnering with operational leaders and senior leadership
Technical & Professional Skills- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and compliance requirements
- Advanced financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills
- Ability to design and manage KPI dashboards and recurring reporting
- High proficiency in Excel and financial systems; experience implementing ERP systems as beneficial
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial outcomes to operational drivers
Communication & Leadership- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial audiences
- Strong influencing skills and the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trust across operations, finance, and leadership teams
